About Us

The Chua Chu Kang Secondary School National Cadet Corps (CCKSS NCC) is a dynamic and disciplined uniformed group that strives to embody the spirit of excellence, leadership, and resilience. Guided by the vision of the Singapore National Cadet Corps (NCC) to nurture responsible, resourceful, and resilient cadets, our unit takes pride in developing students into confident leaders and committed citizens.

At CCKSS NCC, cadets experience a wide range of fun and challenging military-related activities designed to cultivate discipline, teamwork, and leadership. From fieldcraft and precision drills to adventure training and marksmanship, every activity strengthens our cadets’ physical endurance, mental resilience, and moral uprightness.

Our cadets actively uphold the Core Values of the NCC — Loyalty to Country, Uprightness, Leadership, Discipline, Commitment and Responsibility, Care for Fellow Cadets, and Adventurous Spirit. These values are the foundation of our unit’s identity and the guiding principles behind everything we do.

Through various local and national-level events, such as the NCC Camp, the Orienteering Competition, and the Total Defence activities, our cadets learn to lead with purpose and serve with pride. The bonds formed through training and shared challenges instill in them a strong sense of camaraderie and belonging.

At CCKSS NCC, we believe that every cadet has the potential to be a leader — one who leads by example, upholds the highest standards of conduct, and contributes positively to the school and the community.
